Salaried GP

Are you looking for a great work/life balance in a coastal location?

The Holbrook and Shotley Practice is looking for a salaried GP to join their busy, stable practice, covering up to 4-8 sessions per week.   

• Flexibility 4 – 8 sessions
• Friendly practice population with manageable/controlled workload 
•  Low level of complaints
•  Home visits undertaken by our visiting physician
•  8,000 patients over two sites (Holbrook and Shotley) 
•  Fully dispensing
• Training practice
• High QOF achievement
•  Loyal and supportive staff
•  10 minutes to Ipswich Town Centre, one hour to London by rail
•  Excellent schools and good local facilities including water sports, sailing, marina, golf and walking paths. 

Option to remain as a salaried GP, or to progress to partnership after a period of mutual assessment.

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
  
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list
  

• Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
• Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
• Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
• Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
