About the Role

Lawson Road Surgery in Norwich are a high performing GP surgery currently seeking immediate support following the sudden absence of our Practice Manager due to serious illness.

We are looking for:

• An experienced Practice Manager to provide interim operational leadership and business management
• Support with day-to-day practice financial management
• Availability at short notice is highly desirable, ideally for 1 or 2 days a week
• Ideally on site but remote/hybrid working considered
• Short term contract at present

About the Candidate

If you are an experienced practice manager who is currently looking for a short term position, then we would love to hear from you.

All applicants should have the following skills and experience:

Previous Practice Manager experience
Detailed and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, as well as experience in managing a diverse workforce
Prior experience of leadership and personnel management, within a healthcare setting
Experience in financial management
Ability to deliver a vision, with a willingness and the drive to adapt to NHS targets and business planning, whilst keeping abreast of legislative and contractual changes
Self-motivated, with a forward-thinking, solution-focused approach;
The ability to develop, implement and embed policies, procedures and guidelines;
Experience of working in an ever-evolving environment, with an ability to cope with regular change;
Excellent organisational, management and planning skills, IT skills and communication skills

About Us

Our list is size is 8,700, which continues to grow with new developments locally. We are a teaching practice and work closely with UEA supporting years 2, 3, 4 and 5. We are a research active practice. We have a CQC rating of Good.
