PCN Senior Administrator

Breckland Alliance Primary Care Network (PCN) has an opportunity for a senior administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered on a full-time basis. 

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Undertaking a variety of administrative duties including the provision of secretarial and clerical support to our Primary Care Network team including Clinical Director and PCN Business Manager.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards digital transformation, with a willingness to learn and utilise emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI agents. Actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks, enhance productivity and support modern ways of working across the organisation
• Organisation of meetings to include agenda formation, minutes and accurate record keeping. 
• General administration duties and project support for all activities within the PCN.

Primary care networks bring GP practices and partners together to improve resilience, population health outcomes and integrated neighbourhood working. This role is central to enabling the PCN to operate effectively and to support practices with the increasing complexity of planning, reporting, governance and service delivery.

The Breckland Alliance Primary Care Network comprises Grove Surgery, School Lane Surgery and Watton Medical Practice. The Alliance was formed in 2019, working together to deliver high quality, sustainable primary health care to the population of Thetford, Watton and the surrounding area and currently serves a total practice patient list of approximately 45,000. 

We have recently expanded the role of our alliance and own a provider company which focuses on clinical research and the delivery of non-primary care NHS services. Additionally, we share a number of staff and processes across our alliance.
