Associate Dentist

Pitsea Dental Care are looking for both a full and part-time associate to work Monday to Friday (flexible days and hours). There are also additional optional sessions available with bonus payments for working Monday - Friday 5-7pm and Saturday + Sunday 8.45am-1.30pm.

• Performing oral examinations and identifying dental health issues.
• Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
• Educating patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
• Assisting and supporting patients with dental problems, including diagnoses, treatment planning, and dental maintenance.
• Performing diagnostic and preventative dentistry, including cleanings, polishing, fluoride treatment, sealants, X-rays, and other diagnostic and preventative procedures.
• We also have a NHS orthodontic contract as well if associate is interested in furthering studies and mentoring.

• Full registration with the General Dental Council.
• NHS performer number.
• 1 year experience preferred but this opportunity could also suit a clinician finishing foundation training - support and mentoring will be provided if required by principle.

We have been providing dental services in Basildon for over 30 years. We relocated to this modern purpose-built practice in 2016 offering:

• five treatment rooms
• a separate digital OPG room
• two separate LDU rooms
• a staffroom
• an open reception area
• a large waiting room
• ample free staff and patient parking onsite
• a 10-minute walk to the nearest train station. The surgery is close to public transport routes, A13 and the A127 and is close to many local amenities.
