Salaried GP

• Undertaking a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, video consultations and queries, reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports, and correspondence.
• Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
• Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
• Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients.
• Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards using templates provided (Ardens).
• Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements.
• Delivering enhanced services in conjunction with the clinical team.
• All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Our team consists of 2 GP partner’s supported by one salaried GP,  a paramedic, 2 practice nurses and 1 HCA. We also have a variety of support staff from our PCN consisting of social prescribers, pharmacists & a health and well-being coach soon to be joined by a physician associate .The clinical staff are all supported by our reception team, secretary, administration clerk and practice manager. We are a SystmOne practice and hold regular clinical meetings, staff meetings and MDT meetings involving our community services.
